we no there were dinosaurs, so did god make them along with man and the earth at the same time? He must have bcuz the bible said he created everything in 6 days and the 7th he rested? so i want 2 no what religious people blev about the story of adam n eve and where do dinosaurs fit in? we have proof of their xistance so did cavemen desend from adam n eve since they were here first?

God does not measure time in our 24 hour days. There is no way to measure in our terms the length of time for each of those 6 "days". Each "day" could have been a thousand or even ten thousand years in the way time is measured by man.

Actually, dinosaurs existed before God put man on the earth. If you read Genesis, When God created Adam and Eve, He told them to multiply and replenish the earth. Which means that there were some type of being here before man. I can not go into great detail, but there was a period of chaos in the beginning. It is believed that when Satan was cast down to earth, his presence brought chaos into the earth. At this time, the dinosaurs existed. However, the bible says, there was a time that God commanded the sun not to shine. And if this is so, then it would have brought about the Ice Age. This is why we find Wooly mamoths frozen in ice. After the ice age, God said let there be light and renewed the face of the earth in 6 days.

Dinosaurs were probably here at the same time Adam and Eve were. The bible never says how long A and E were in the garden before they sinned, perhaps millions and millions of years

they are two stories about God in the bible ie two different Gods.

lol live2play is a total jerk. What difference does that make? Anyway I pity the ones who take the bible for granted. There is a lot of moral story and symbolism in it. And for the creatures that are before us you have right there, but at the end a human hand wrote the bible and it is human to make errors :))))

i think somewhere in teh bible it says
' a day in gods eyes=1000 years'
edit- equillibrist, thats not a joke, it actually says in the bible that a day for God is like 1000 years.
if God made animals, than the next day made people, it would be 1000 years later

i dont believe the bible, but this can be explained that those 7 days arent 24 hour periods. the definition of a day to us is the earths rotation on its axis, however a day to god could be thousands to millions of years. this would give enough time between him creating animals to him creating man, for dinosaurs to not coexist, as he whiped them out before hand. obviously not document cause god wouldnt want to waste time explaining that he killed off a large group of animals to make room for man.
but *shrug* bible is fairy tale
