i have just had dark purple flashes put thru my hair and it looks ace.

go to the local college and get a level three hairdressing student to do it for you. they have more colours to choose from and i only payed £1.50 for eight foils!

Maybe try getting just one flash through the front of your hair - especially good when you have a side-fringe. I've had mine in red and in blue. The hairdresser will look at you a bit funny but be firm about what you want - oh yeah, DO go to a hairdresser if you've got brown hair and you've dyed it before! The previous dyes can turn you all sorts of weird colours - I've ended up highlighter pen orange before! Ok, so the good thinng about the single flash is that it's really dramatic and will always gt you noticed, but it's not too in-your-face for work.

Go for it! TW x

Do some color melting, where they take strands and do the top like a cool natural chocolate brown and melt into copper color, then take the next section and start with the copper melt into the brown. Alternating. A really cool effect without any lines of color where the foils were. Another idea, if your hair's layer do a solid color on the bottom and top (like a tupae area) and the middle section something bold. You just have an awesome color popping out and can't see outgrowth and the roots when it starts to grow out. Make sure it's zip zagged in the middle section, not a straight line, that'll look trashy if you pull it back and see the line.

Since you have medium brown tinged with red, i think it would look nice to dye it a golden brown and blonde layered highlights. This clolour gives your hair a fresher, healthy look and it goes with long, short, straight or curly hair. Garnier and Loreal products are good, a bit on the expensive side, but worth it because the colour lasts and they are made to keep nutrients in your hair. Cheers and good luck with the colour you choose.

Try the new halo where they use two colors and alternate them in slices all around your head pick drastic colors like blonde and brown or red and blonde!!! Get a professional to do it or a beauty school student!!

im a big fan of low lights and highlights....if your hair is already redish brown then just make the top a little redder and underneath a little darker....i love this look because its different but still classy for work

Ur hair might not go blonde easily because u have had red in it so go to a professional or u might end up with pink hair

Stop dying it or you'll go bald and then the next question you'll ask is what color wig to buy.Leave your hair be for awhile and give it a rest. Don't be so A.D.D. that everything gets you bored.
