Swollen nipples after a successful spay surgery is very odd. Are you SURE a surgery was performed? (Believe it or not, some unscrupulous vets charge for services they never actually provide). Swollen nipples can also be an early sign of cysts, infection, or cancer.

Don't panic, but just to be on the safe side, we'd suggest that you call your vet and discuss her condition with him.

Yeah, that is strange. Take her to a vet. I dont think a dog that has been spayed should have hormonal issues. Only a vet can really help you.

She might have an immaculate conception! The new dog messiah is on it's way!
Seriously, I hope your dog is fine, i've always had male dogs so i have no experience with females (dogs i mean).

Dogs can have false pregnancies, their hormones are running amuck. I've not had to deal with one, but you may want to call your vet and see what he says.
