A lot of young men succumb to peer pressure but really there's no need to. Whatever we do, we will be held responsible for it so we should be making our own decision and not let others dictate what we do.

Yes, that is possible. Although you may not realize it at your age. Teenage boys are still not as mature as girls at that age. More often than not they are still very egocentric and sometimes shy and arent really interested in a relationship, but just want to prove to their buddies that they can get a girl. Hope that is not your case. I would seriously talk to this person to find out. If it is, get rid of him fast.

Yeah, I didn't myself but I know lots of guys who are 19 - 21 who still do that to show they have the balls to do it and that they are a "real man"
Shame really cause sometimes the girls are really friendly and they get hurt. That's why I stopped hanging around with those guys.

My son feels he has to have a girlfriend just because it makes him look grown up, its a shame because he wasn't prepared for the rocky road his journey has taken him, even though i tried to prepare him. He still feels the pain of growing up..... kids ideally should not feel pressured but unfortunately its not the world we live in !!!!

Yes they will. I've done it. You hope that you will like them because of things such as, "Your prefect for eachother". In the end it turns out to you hating the person.
