Yes, I have boys and my concerns are fights and getting into trouble with friends who get in trouble. My sister has girls and it is having sex and getting pregnant!

No doubt about that. Absolutely yes. The parents of girls have different concerns regarding their children than parents of boys. That's nearest to the fact.

We had this discussion several times at our house, and the answer is YES...When our daughter was growing up she would not be allowed to do certain things...and we heard..'but HE did it"..and she was right...I could never explain it to her..but as a parent there are different rules for boys and girls..she never liked it but she apparently got over it. She is 22 now and a great young lady.....with no bad reputation....

Yes, I was so glad that we had a boy. I remember what it was like to be a girl and I know I couldn't handle all of the additional worrying that comes with girls. (pregnancy, date rape, self esteem issues, etc)
Our main concern with our son is to make sure he doesn't get anyone pregnant.

Well im a girl and my parents won't let me go to any of my friends house without meeting their parents and my brother can go to his friends house if my parents talk on the phone to their parents. I think parents are more protective and harder on girls these days because of all the girls being abducted, rapped, and becoming prostitutes.

I have one of each.. my girl is youngest.. and I can't really say there are any seperate concerns for both.. My girl is more tough than my boy.. My son... i worry about him knocking up a girl when he hits highschool and my girl i worry about her getting knocked up in high school.. as for concerns now... it would be kidnapping and sexual abuse. and thats for both and will always concern me

of course....boys you can be a bit more lienant with ...girls on the other hand you have to put them on lock....my son is totally different to raise than my daughter...you have to entertain more with girls...and boys they just like to be with themselves or their playstations

yes,I should feel equal with both of them, but my daughter is the one who will have boobs, and the one who can get pregnant and is pretty. My son is good looking, but can't get pregnant, but can get someone pregnant. I should feel the same.
