That's actually an oxymoron of sorts. By definition, if you lie, you have not told the truth. And if it's supposed to be one of those for your own good things, if you can't tell the whole truth about something, just don't say anything at all!

well yes and no. we do when in comes out wrong but its still the truth but you cant cause lieing and telling the truth are 2 different things.

NO... Telling the truth is about HONESTY and being straight forward with someone. You cant "lie" to tell any truth... thats ridiculous
