I've been to a palm reader, same one, three times. Most of what she said was true. However, I think she's off on when things are supposed to happen. She didn't tell me specific dates, just my age when things are "supposed" to happen. Can a palm reader tell you when major life events occur, did she just guess? Or can they at least get some sort of an idea and maybe be off by a year or two?

The lines on your palm (as some will tell you) can tell you when things will happen approximately, every few millimeters is seven years. Obviously you can't pinpoint an exact date, but when in your life a thing happens should be enough, since you're using already undependable methods.

I hate to break this to you, but ALL of it is guessing.
Some "educated" guessing, because although palm readers (and psychics and tarot readers and on and on) can't predict the future or read anything in your palm, what they *are* good at is reading YOU. They make general statements, watch how you react, then narrow things down, watching your reaction the whole time. They get you to give them answers and statements that you don't even know you're giving them (but there's nothing psychic about it, they're just good at reading physical and emotional responses).
They're CONNING you. Get it?

None of it is real. There have been a few hundred scientific tests of palm readers, psychics, tarot readers, etc. -- none of them have ever done any better than random chance with their "predictions" -- in other words, you'd be just as accurate flipping a coin and saying, "heads I'm going to meet my future wife today, tails I won't" as you would listening to a palm reader.

Time to start using that brain up there in your head :)

Being palm reader, I will tell you... No. Anyone who professes to tell you the future is taking you for a ride, at your expense.

She can tell you dates. Today's date and that's it. Save your money.
