I have my faith and my beliefs, right wrong or indifferent, but I know that if he's bad enough to torture souls for eternity, when he comes up to fight for the planet that is technically his, how will we defeat him? Bullets and bombs? Song? I believe Armageddon will be in our lifetime and even if not, it's nice to be prepared.

Mortals cannot fight him, neither can the angels. When Michael the archangel fough with Satan he called upon the Lord for help.
Jude 1:9 But Michael the archangel, when he disputed with the devil and argued about the body of Moses, did not dare pronounce against him a railing judgment, but said, "The Lord rebuke you!" Dealing with him is God's job, we are told to "give no place to the devil" Just sta away from him and let God deal with it.

A mortal (mere human) can't defeat Satan. However, Satan is already defeated! The war is already won! Satan only has authrity over this world through the power of sin and the power of sin and darkness was defeated over 2000 years ago when the spotless Lamb was slaughter in our place on the cross.

You are on the right track however we are not just simple mortals. You wil find that the answer is to love. If you love, you will find that Satan has no such powers over you. One day, in this lifetime hopefully, you will find yourself waking up from this so called reality. And that is when you will know that you are unstoppable and that Satan and this life is just a dream that never was.

Jesus came to destroy the works of Satan.

When Jesus said, "It is finished!" on the cross. That is the victory that Jesus was the Lamb of God, an atonement for the sins of the world. Satan & death was defeated when Jesus rose from the dead.

Jesus is the one who is having Satan thrown into the lake of fire to be tormented for eternity.

For a born of God Christian, Ephesians 6 is the spiritual armor to wear when fighting spiritual wickedness.

What scares the devil much is a Christian submitting to God. Submit to God, resist satan & satan flees (runs away).

Submitting to God is reading the Word of God, praying for others, casting all our cares on Him knowing He cares for us. Speaking out loud the victorious Word of God over our life and family, friends & neighbors.

When satan gets defeated, it is during the time when Gods wrath is poured out on those guilty of murdering the Lord God's Prophets, Messianic Jews, Christians & innocent; and those destroyers of Gods creation. Jesus comes back with those redeemed by the blood of the Lamb (of the 1st resurrection), for the millinnium reign. The devil is thrown in the abyss for the millinnium. Every one is happy for the 1000 years.

Satan can be defeated simply: Satan is defeated when people refuse to cave in to perverted or lustful instances, or when you dont cheat someone out of money or property. Satan is defeated when you strive to be honest and to help people who need it. And you can most definately defeat Satan by truly believing in God and in the goodness that people are capable of.

Become a "souldier!" Satan is a fallen angel right? Now you just have to find someone with angel fighting experience. Oh nobody? Well until we know how, I am at a loss to say.

Satan is a defeated foe. He has no power any longer on this earth. He can tempt people though. Christ Jesus who was born of a Virgin, Our True God trampled down death by death and defeated Satan.

Christ is risen from the dead,
trampling down death by death and upon those in the tombs bestowing life!

First, you have to understand that Satan isn't a mortal...

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6:12)

Then, we have to understand that we aren't supposed to the fighting, but we are supposed to let the Lord, who is Spirit, fight Satan, who is Spirit.

Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. (Zechariah 4:6b)

WE don't defeat Him. That is Christ's job. The only power Satan has over us is what he deceives us into giving to him.
