all those in Heaven will be eternally happy and sadness etc will not be felt, and along with this they will no longer be related as they were on earth, as all will be of one family of God and as such will fully realize that those who freely chose to reject God`s love, deserve to be where they are, and will not have any attachment to them whatsoever.

After the Judgment earlier the great White Throne, (Revelation 20:11-15) the subsequent financial ruin describes the recent Heaven and the recent Earth and the destiny of all those in Christ. Then I observed a sparkling heaven and a sparkling earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had handed on to the great beyond, and the sea replaced into no extra. and that i observed a the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. and that i heard a noisy voice from the throne putting forward, “Behold, the living position of God is with guy. he will live with them, and they'll be his human beings, and God himself will be with them as their God. he will wipe away each and every tear from their eyes, and that i lack of life will be no extra, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor soreness anymore, for the former issues have handed on to the great beyond.” Revelation 21:a million-4

That's a terrible question! No one is ever tortured forever in the fires of hell...what a mean and violent concept. What kind of a god would do that to people? I'm supposed to worship something that tells me that if I don't do everything it wants me to do and if I don't do it exactly as told, I will suffer eternally. Screw that! I simply cannot believe that if there is a god, it's like that. My god would not be concerned with the lives of individual human beings; it would be the sum total of all the natural forces in the Universe and there would not be any heaven or hell.

Obviously, he got to Hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
GOD can Reach People in the Last Seconds befor they Leave the Earth for Good.
GOD can Expand Time and give them another Chance.
How does she know that he is?
Never give up on Anybody, the only person I know that is there, is the Rich Man. It is in the Bible.
Let us All get to Heaven.
Jesus is the Great Judge, not us.
Hope this helps.

Well in heaven, there will be constant joy- there will be no pain or depression or sadness. So she will enjoy Heaven. But while on earth, of course she would worry about her son and PRAY HARD for him. That would be hard while still living....

How does she know her Athiest son is being tortured in the fires of hell. I don't know what you have heard about Christianity but salvation doesn't end with death.

See what the early christians believe about that issue.

Eastern Orthodox Christianity.

Ultimately, it's his own choice, no matter what she says or does. I have 3 children and they have all been raised to love the Lord as a born-again Christian. They have all chosen to be baptized, saved, and 2 of them are currently living that life, by their own choices. My oldest one is already in Heaven (car accident.) He left much evidence behind that causes us to believe he is in Heaven. We can't wait to see him again, and hopefully the other two will join us as well. We all choose our own destiny, even darth. God bless you.

As I understand from some theologian, when all tears are wiped away, she will forget she has a son.

This is the saddest part of having a non-Christian loved one, I think.

God is not going to let anyone suffer in Heaven, He has promised that. I suppose we will not remember our lost loved ones although it seems the lost will remember us.

If the mother is Christian, than she would now that God loves all of his children, and can forgive. That should be enough for her. She could ask God to forgive her son, and should be content with that. That is, if she is a true believer in the grace and unconditional love of God.
