I'm not sure but you may be interested in something that my son said to me when he was three.

He started to talk in complete sentences at a very early age. I used to lay in bed and talk to him till he went to sleep every night.

One night he told me about something that had happened to him. It seemed odd so I ask when it had happened. He said it happened to me when I used to be big like you. I asked him to tell me about when he was big before. I explained that He had been a man before. Not a man like you, a lot older. He seemed very serious so I just let him talk and he told me about the place where the babies wait to be born. He said that he remembered the day he came to look at my wife and I to see if he wanted to have us as parents.

This story went on for several nights. I decided to see if he was making it up. So I asked him to tell me a story about something, and he was completely unable to fabricate even a simple story of two sentences. He could go on at length about things that had actually occurred, but he was not able to make anything up and tell it.

It sure made me think.

Love and blessings Don

I believe our souls are with God before we are born. That is why they say that babies and children sometimes have a connection w/ God that is unexplanable, because they just left Him. I have heard so many beautiful stories about young children seeing angels and biblical figures, etc. It is really so sweet:)

wow, Don, that is exactly what I am talking about! How amazing is that!

Our souls were in heaven with God, innocent and pure

We were in the pre-existence with God, a place of heavenly bliss and rest. By the will of God, we were placed in our mortal tabernacles at the right time for us.

I wondered about that too... maybe it developed along with us as we were in the womb. Or breathed into us as were being conceived. Or maybe it was with us when we nothing more then a etty bitty sperm. Who knows.
