Well, a couple that kills skunks together stays together i guess. Douche to get rid of the smell? Okay... never heard of that one.

It seems that you live in a rural area like I do. Fence your yard or a good size portion of your land if you have more than a half acre or so. Since skunks are burrowers, you would also have to dig down a ways along the fence line and lay in concrete blocks or something like that to keep the skunks out of the fenced area. Don't let the dogs run loose when you are not with them. Skunks are primarily nocturnal critters, so if you keep the dogs inside at night, that should cut down on their opportunities to find skunks. Don't leave dog dishes out at night. The dog food will attract the skunks.
I've got a resident skunk somewhere on my property. It visits my porch occasionally in search of food. I got a bottle of "Skunk-Off" scent remover from my vet. I don't know how well it works, because so far (knock on wood) I haven't needed to use it. Your vet may have something that's tried and true that you can get.
Hail, Rotties!! The best darn dogs there are!

My dog used to chase skunks, not kill them, and she seemed to think it was great fun. She was skunked about twice a year over an eleven year period. The best things I found to get rid of the smell were tomato juice and, believe it or not, Massengil Douche worked into her coat. As for your dogs killing the skunks, they are in fact, trying to impress their pack. Getting them to stop will require constant supervision and aversion training. If they have free run of a large area like a farm and you are not with them 100% of the time, the only thing I can think of is to keep them muzzled. The best thing to do is contact your local animal shelter or vet to get a list of recommended animal trainers to help you out. You really do have to do something about limiting your dogs contact with skunks, though. Skunks frequently carry parasites and diseases like rabies. Good Luck.

Every time they do this you should disciplin the dogs. Put the dead skunks in a bag and put them in the garbadge, but don't let the dogs see you do this. they might rummage in the garbadge searching them
