I want to have some friends over for like a Christmas lunch/dinner and was wondering what kinds of things should I prepare? Both meat and veggie foods? Recipes to if you have any? Thanks.

Hi there. We typically have a turkey on Thanksgiving, so we make usually prime rib or some sort of beef roast for Christmas. I would make both veggie and meat-a good mixture is best for everyone! Good luck! Food network.com has some great easy recipes.

A lot of times it's been turkey or ham with all the sides, I've even done tamales and chili. Last year I tried a beef tenderloin, a little more upper scale. This year I think I am going to do for an appetizer a Cranberry Pecan Brie, then New York Strip Steaks with a gorgonzola sauce, herbed new potatoes, green beans, maybe a salad, and popovers- with a cranberry cake and apple tart for desserts.
