We have a rental property in AZ and live in California.. I know that when you drive there, you can claim the miles and gas on your taxes.. But we would rather fly.. If so, can we include the expense of our plane tickets on our taxes under our investment property?

if you have a business lisc and or a legal company that, on occasian, buys property then yes. make sure you take pictures and keep all reciepts and log all business meetings. it wouldn't hurt to see a couple of real estate brokes and get there cards as well. your meals and hotels are also deductable, however all this requires proof. it would not hurt to ask an accountant this very same question.

i'm truthfully not a tax professional. except the shed replaced into outfitted for a agency, it can't be deducted. although, keep your receipt. once you get waiting to promote the valuables, i imagine the fee of the shed will be able to be blanketed contained in the cost of the living house. i'm constructive different posters would have extra suggestion about this.
