I'm only still in year 1 spanish so if you know spanish fluently or have taken it, try to keep that in mind maybe? But I can't remember if i've already learned these two words or not. I'll probably know and recognize it if someone says it. I'm just having to write this paper and my sentence is "A girl went for a walk one day." Or i'll change it to "A girl goes for a walk one day."
Any help please?

Best way to translate is to find the feeling of the sentence. Direct translations from English to Spanish and visa versa rarely make sense.
"Goes" comes from "to go" which in Spanish is "Ir" conjugated to "va" thus "She goes" would be "Ella va" or "She went" would be "Ella fue" but the last part of the sentence "for a walk" actually means that she is going out and about, with no direct purpose, to walk around. In this case I would use neither of the previously mentioned words. Instead, I would say, "Un dia, una chica salió a pasear" which would communicate better the meaning of the sentence "One day she went for a walk." Actual translation would be "One day, a girl went out for a stroll." Good luck . . .

The first option is right. a girl went for a walk one day, una niña fue de paseo un día. In the other option you need to change "one" for "once per" so the meaning changes. Una niña va (usually) de paseo una vez al día.

these have no accents, fui- i went, fuiste- you went, fue- he she went, fuimos- we went, fueron- they went, the verb ir means to go, and its conjugated like this voy vas va vamos vais van
