I have to make 2 pumkin pies; one for my family and one for the in-law's. I want to make both of them on the Wed. before Thanksgiving. One will be used on Thanksgiving day and the other on the Sat. after Thanksgiving. Will the one made for Sat. last that long (3 days)?

It should be fine - just refrigerate immediately after it cools, and cover with plastic wrap.

No problem, it should last up to five days...the only thing is that after a couple of days your crust will go a bit "soggy" at the bottom of the pie..
You can avoid this by making a graham cracker crust type instead of the usual crust...
And reducing the milk in your filling by at least 3 tbls. to make the filing a bit "drier".
And you can freeze it until the morning of the day it is to be eaten...
Or you could make a pumpkin cheesecake and do the same...It freezes quite well...

Usually, delicious food products such as pumpkin pie last a bit longer than their expuration date, but if I were you, I would immediately dispose of it to a safe location!

It should last refrigerated. If it gets a skin, pulls away from the pie crust and gets those "dry desert cracks" in the pumpkin surface, it's going bad! And don't forget the whipped cream!

Should be fine until saturday....if it lasts that long. Our family can't usually make it past friday night left overs before it is gone. I would recomment putting the pie for the weekend in the fridge though.

That will work out just fine for you. Just refrigerate after baking and wrap in saran wrap.
