OESTRUS/ HEAT; the heat is spilt into two time periods, 1st `PRO-OESTRUS, and about 9 (nine) days. 2nd period 9 (nine) days of OESTRUS proper, the discharge can be little, to gushing bleeding. The bleeding is depentant on how well she cleans herself, + pheromone dissieates as well. If you any intesions of breeding from her, wait, untill 3rd season.

Good luck

The b i t c h is usually in heat for 3 weeks - a week coming in, a week in and a week going out. You will need to watch her for at least the last 2 weeks (maybe a few days longer) as during that last week is when they will breed. You can tell if she is receptive to a male by running your hand down her back toward her tail. If the tail goes off to one side, she will breed.
Good luck

My one recently had her first season. In total it lasted about 3 weeks but there were a few complications (she suffered a false pregnacy) so the whole ordeal lasted about a month and a half. If she remains swollen after a month i would go and get her checked by your vets.

About 3 weeks and for the first week she will be puffy, 2nd week she will most likely bleed and some into the third week.

3 weeks. one week pre season, one week bleeding and then one week when the bleeding stops and she will want to mate. Once bleeding has stopped you need to watch her like a hawk as this is when she'll get caught.

3 weeks. She will be bleeding for the first week, very fertile in the second week, less so in the third but still could get pregnant.
