That is a good question. Why do those who do not believe that God is real, even bother arguing? Maybe because they know deep down He IS real- yet they are trying so hard to find a reason why He isn't and it makes them feel better about themselves when they argue He is not. I don't know- but that is my guess.
I am glad HE IS REAL! And I am glad that I have no doubt. My Savior Jesus Christ is FOREVER! Amen!

Just because I do not believe in the a god does not mean that I am spending all my time trying to prove there ain't. There are atheist and there are agnostics. I do not believe in Santa Claus, however, I do not try to convince children that he does not exist.

I don't believe in god and I don't care whether you do or not. I never try to prove there isn't (not ain't) because you cannot prove a negative. There is a difference between debate and trying to "prove" something. I guess you don't understand that.

I'm trying to get people to think about it, or just poke fun at questions and be a smartass

Why some are not GAY but are spending all their life to prove that being GAY is Wrong?
None believers are as well spending their life to prove that they are Right.

The point is all Atheist know there is a G*d. They are IMHO actually pissed at him for allowing sin, evil, etc., and one way to get back at him is to say, I don't believe you exist.
It is a childish tantrum in a way, that I guess makes them feel like grown-ups. For once let them feel like adults, ok? And the rest of us can have a goof laff and go back to work.

If anyone did that, it would be pretty clear that they're obsessed.
But I don't know anyone who does that. Christians maybe, but even they don't spend ALL their time doing it. They take bathroom breaks and I'm pretty sure they sleep.

Because faith and ignorance are very dangerous things. Also, I would like to see these stupid myths and superstitions dropped out of society before I have kids.
