I've sent two texts on different days.I've not had a reply,and they havent called or thought to text me. I've pretty much given up now. Dont want to be too needy!
How many unreplied texts does it take before you would give up?

Personally I always say, 3's a charm and 3 strikes and you are out, so try once more and then if you still don't hear anything, kiss that baby goodbye, and it will definitely be their loss

i always think i go too far and send too many, quite while you are ahead, if they want to reply, they will, and that is something i discovered recently,
had a date cancelled by a man, i texted him to find out why and had no reply, so i deleted his number so i couldn't text when i had had a few drinks, which i am wanton to do, and low and behold, i had an apology from him a few days later still wanting to see me,

Have you considered that maybe they don't have text capability? Maybe their phone is on the fritz? Maybe they couldn't pay their phone bill......there's all kinds of reasons why somebody might not respond....find another way to contact this person if it is that important to you>

id say one...but if you really want to, text them a few days after the first text, and if they STILL dont reply, then get the hint.

Usually one --- two just to make sure you didn't screw up sending the first message.
After two --- no more ... personally have other things to do than keep sending text msgs

I would go with two.....as if first lost or whatever then second would not be......I doubt.
Why did you opt to text and not call?
