Has anyone here ever donated blood platelets? Did you have any problems after?

I have been a regular blood donor for 18 years but I have never given platelets. Has anyone here ever done so? If so, would you do it again? Is there any reason not to?

Blood platelets are merely spun down from the whole blood given at donation. The platelets and white cells are the middle layer between red and plasma.
