the forend should be done with the clamp type that attaches to the magazine tube
the butt eend can be set up with a band type that loops around the stock with no drilling needed

I'd say use a tie-on band type sling, BUT, this may interfere with the lever action!
Here is a better Idea :
Remove the buttplate and trace the outline, including the location of the screw holes. At the bottom of the tracing, Draw in an extension with a 1 1/2 X 1/4 slot for the sling.
Take this to a machine shop and have it cut out of sheet metal.
Deburr any rough edges, paint it black and install it under the original buttplate.
Rear sling without any extra holes!

There are two piece removable sling adapters that will attach around the magazine tube to hold the front of the sling.
I bet Brownells has them.

slip-on shotgun tpye sling. try cabelas, bass pro, cheaperthandirt.com, or midway shooters supply.
