If the dog is continually vomiting several things may be the cause of it.
It might be an allergic response: Dogs CAN develop allergies to food over long periods of time (sometimes there are trace elements that accumulate in the body until it reaches a level the dog can no longer tolerate).
The dog may have parasites (like tape worms, coccidia, giardia, etc.). A fecal (poop) sample taken to the vet (in a Ziploc bag) will help to determine this.
The dog may have a blockage in its stomach or intestinal tract that is making it difficult for the body to properly metabolize the food.
The dog may have an ulcer, internal cyst, or tumor.
The dog may have a neurological disorder that is causing it to reflexively vomit.
Dogs that vomit a lot lose hydration every time they "hurl"; the dog can become severely dehydrated. If that happens, its organs will start to shut down and it will die.
Only the vet can determine what the true origin of the problem is... and the longer your friend waits, the worse things can get. Encourage your friend to get her dog to the vet NOW.

The dog must see a vet. Beside dehydration the dog could have something lodged in its throat making it throw up. Is it vomiting several times a day ? Does she play fetch with a stick? I have a friend who's dog swallowed part of a stick. She waited a day or two to see why her dog was gagging. It was a rather large piece of wood from the stick. She will feel much better and so will the dog if you don't guess and just take the dog to the vet.

There are too many possibilites of what could be wrong. Because the dog is throwing up daily and there is not a food change she should take the dog to the Vet. If the Vet does not find something wrong, you might look in her environment and see if there is something different in it. Are there mushrooms sprouting or something else the dog might be eating that is seasonal or new that could be making it ill?

She needs to get the dog into a Vet. Something is wrong and throwning up every day is not normal for any animal.

your friend should seek medical advice from a vet. It could be parasites, like heart worms or others. Take it to a vet. If the dog has never had a heart worm shot then get it one quickly. Some worms can be visible with normal eye sight. You may also use a magnifying glass or better still, a microscope. Good Luck.........

If the dog is vomiting all it's meals and water, it has an obstruction and needs to be seen by a vet. We could speculate on 'what ifs' all day, but that wouldn't solve anything. The dog needs to be seen.

I had a dog that did this, about 11 years ago. She also became very lethargic after a few days. When I took her to the vet, she had Parvo virus. It took a lot of treatment to save her. Get the dog to a vet, quickly!

TELL her to take her dog out side on a collar and leash and have her to walk her dog around ( it will take her dog a lil while) and do it more then once. do it at least 3 to 4 times a day.. walk the dog around and the dog will find grass and other herbs that she can eat. After she eats the herbs/grass that she needs to, she will )throw up the grass or hrebs that she did eat but it will help her from throwing up everyday.. Dogs get their vitamins and minerals and alot of their medicines from mother earth that help them and the sun and a bath is also healing for them too..
just let her take her time outside finding the herbs she needs to make herself better...

She needs to take her dog to the vet. It sounds like some kind of obstruction and the dog should be x-rayed right away. This is treatable. Best wishes!
