I would prefer to have one next to my hip bone right above my panty line, but I'm afraid that when I have a kid, it will stretch and look like a blob of ink. My husband wants me to get one on my lower back, but I wouldn't be able to get an epidural and plus I think it's a little played out now. He also said I should get one on my shoulder blade, but that would look tacky on me. I don't want one on my ankle, calf, arm, etc. I'm completely out of options. I really want it on near my hip. Any suggestions?

WHat about on your top upper thighright below the underwear line? that way it's near your hip but low enough to where it won't stretch..

Lower back on a female is always sexy & will not interfere with an epidurel. Remember, anytime you tat over bone or areas that are tender ( inside of arms, legs ) it will hurt more. If you really want 1 on the hip go for it. Just not directly over the hip bone.

I have a huge dragon on my shoulder blade and it doesn't look tacky at all, my husband thinks it is sexy! the only other place I would be willing to get a tattoo is a small one on my ankle.

My only answer is to get it somewhere that can always be covered when needed. You wouldn't want to go on a job interview with tats hanging out. I have 7, one of the back of my neck, the center of my chest, my thigh and the side of both legs. They are very unique tats also. I reccomend getting something different than what most people have.

It depends on what the tattoo is and the size because some tattoos look good on the back and others look on other parts of the body. If I knew what the tattoo was I could better answer the question

I always wanted a phoenix on my neck with the wingspan going from the top of my shoulder blades. I saw an oriental girl with one and her hair was in a bun so that way, people can only see it when you want them to.

Try a henna first.
If you dont want it, it will go away sooner or later.
My own opinion, around your hip and lower back is kind of sl*tty. If you really want one, make sure you REALLY want it. Shoulder blade is a good place, or ankle.

I have always said that a tatoo is a permanent reminder of temporary insanity. I also don't like jewlery, and piercing. But, I love to polish my toe nails. Strange for a guy, huh? Honey, I would say go with whatever you want. You are the one that has to live with it!

Get it where YOU want it. It is something that will be with you forever. I have found a site that may help you decide about the placement of what you want. It is a girl who got a tattoo before she got pregnant and took pictures of it while she was progressing in her pregnacy. That may help you figure out if you want one there:

my ex had one on her breast ,aroud her nipple was a flower the center of the flower was her nipple it self, with a humming bird hovering and feeding, it was and rerally cool looking, but i guess its really up to the person in question, she said she was straight at the time( not fuc_ed up) and it hurt like hell,LOL a place like that i guess it would on a woman.if your straight , cant handle pain dont get one if you think you can start off on your leg or thigh where the skin's a lil tougher , good luck stinger5906
