all i can think about is my ex. Should I move on or try to get back with me ex.

Always look back to the reasons you two broke up. If the reasons are still valid, then you shouldn't consider going back.
I broke up with my gf/bf in January. I was still in love with both of them, but the reasons for going grossly outweighed staying.
Because I run into them at our dojo, all the time, I tried to stay friends. As thing would have it, I started believing I could get back with them. In getting closer to them, my ex-gf ended up hurting me pretty seriously. In looking back, the reasons I left were still very much true, I should never have convinced myself it was safe to get back into a relationship with them.
I may always love them, but that doesn't mean I should move on. You may need to, as well.

Sometimes people realize what they mean to each other when they break up and when they start dating other people again. If you still have strong feelings for him and would like to get back together, why not? Nothing stops you to talk to him and express your feelings. There is nothing you can lose this time. You'll be sure about his feelings for you..
PS. Maybe he thinks about you in the same way.

Maybe you really care about him still and your feelings and thoughts are proof you could possibly talk to him about or just give yourself sometime.
