Point blank, they really just crave that feeling....
And for the women comment, I do not think women "most times" cheat with intentions to hurt, unlike males

I think society has evolved into this place where nothing is ever just "good enough" the way it is; there is always something out there that is bigger and better.
Look at music for example. First they came out with 8-tracks and then records and record players and then tapes and now CD's. Movies went from being on VHS to being on DVD. Do you think a whole lot of people still buy VHS? Sure they do, but there is something bigger and better, which is the DVD. Same thing with computer technology and all the other marketed gadgets out there; nobody wants to just keep one thing anymore, they always go out there looking for something bigger and better, maybe more expensive.
Sounds like kind of an off-the-wall explanation but I am trying to relate this marketing to the men as well. They are not just satisfied with the one woman they are with anymore; there is that curiosity of wondering what else is out there and if there is someone better by any category whether it be looks, sexual compatability or just plain boredom with wanting to try something and someone new. Nobody seems to want stability and the same things in life anymore for a longer period of time; it's always something out there that is different or better.
Plus there is always that rush of fresh, new emotions when men or women go out and attempt to cheat. It's a fresh attraction and their brain is tricked into thinking it's a higher emount of emotion when all it really is, is the excitement of something new, not the NEED for something new.

They aren't. Not anymore than women are.
Recent studies have shown the cheating rate to really be about 50/50.
After all, who are all these men cheating on, if the # was different?
The reason for the "myth" that men are bigger cheaters, is that becaus of guilt over "being slutty" most women lie when they are polled about their sexual habits, & most men don't.
However, when they hook these same women up to lie detector tests, the numbers are the same as for men.
Almost all my girlfriends have cheated on me, and my soon-to-be ex wife, so also from personal experience, I don't agree with you - I've never cheated, but been cheated on by about 9 girls/women.

But women cheat too. It has a lot to do with our society. People always want more and more and more. They are never just satisfied with what they have. And people get bored. That is not to say that everybody cheats, but more do than you would suspect. I have not, but my husband has...once that I know of. At a friends bachelor party which is still not excuse. It was his ONE get out of jail free card in that department.
The old ethics and manners from the days of our grandparents just don't exist like they used to. People in general are losing more and more respect for everything...marriage vows, authority figures, themselves...
Just remember it is not just the men.

It is not a regular activity for all men to cheat. I think you will find that most men, in fact, do not cheat.
I'm one of them.
The men you may know, cheat. And if that's the case, look at their personalities and you'll see traits that are similar in all of them.

It is a shame to think all men cheat. I think all women cheat. I was cheated on by my wife who got pregnant by someone else. After divorce, I had an affair with a married woman and she got pregnant by a third guy she was cheating with. So I think all women cheat. But what I have learned is that it is more about my choice in women. So maybe it is just your choice in men.

Because we live in a culture that tells people that sexual restraint of any kind is unnecessary.
It especially true for young men that our cultural message is that faithfulness to a single woman is unmanly and probably a denial of healthy experience.
Any man who is faithful probably has some kind of problem, we are constantly told.

they cheat because they're too many massage parlours popping up like Starbucks and these places are cheap. We as women have to stop the massage parlours!

Coz most women dumb the good men and take bad ones coz they show them all sort of sincerity. Its like women dont like men who you are truthfull to them. thats why most men tend to lie to women coz it works better.
