Were you doing 100 MPH? If you were, plead guilty and be done with it. If you have a lawyer, he can't do much of anything for you anyways. He'll just charge you more $$$ to show up in court. At the most he may be able to get the speed lowered to have the points reduced, but you can ask the judge to to that anyway; most of them will. You should be lucky you didn't get charged for reckless driving as well. I would have put you in jail for speeding at 30 over and charged you for reckless driving.

Because you were more than 15 miles over the speed limit. You could end up losing your license etc. A lawyer could bargain it down to maybe 85 in a 70.

They will most likely ask if you want a lawyer for most things. Its your right and their obligation to tell you. Your best bet, before spending a fortune having a lawyer get your ticket reduced, is to leave a message for the police officer involved to call you. Ask if you come to court is there any way he can help you out with the charge, ie reduce the speed. Then, if hes an a**hole and says no, then get a lawyer.

Get a lawyer and get it reduced. I got one for running a red light to keep from having points added to my insurance and license. It was worth it considering that my insurance would have went up. I hope you realize that speeding tickets can make your insurance go up as well. Slow down before you kill yourself or someone else.

anything over 20 mph over the posted speed limit could be jail time, that's why!!!
Why were you going 100? Do you even give a crap about other people? You just "don't care" if you kill someone?
Do us all a favor and grow up, ok?

nicely, this question fairly presented out about 5 first rate solutions from my mind, yet i will stick with my cooking answer. If i'm having bbq red meat, I pull it off with a fork, after it has cooked for most many hours in a low oven, it shreds itself... With sauce, sure, and no, no slaw on my sammich.
