This life is ALSO a stepping stone to HELL!!! Not everyone is guaranteed entry ito Heaven: "But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to [eternal] life, and only a few find it." [Matthew 7:14] God NEVER punishes someone for not doing something they never hears of or cannot comprehend. Yes, infants and the severely mentally challenged DO get a 'free pass" to Heaven. However, these peopel are also unaware of how great and varied life truly is! They ALSO lack your negative attiude because they can't comprehend THAT, either. You are correct in saying that "Anything that get you to heaven is a blessing". The problem is, it seems that YOU don't understand that there is only ONE thing that gets you into heaven -- your belief in and love of Jesus Christ! You are obviously older than three years, and you don't seem to have any physically-caused mental deficieneis. So, what is your excuse for not belioeving what Jesus says, that even though you may be poor hear , you are RICH in Him, that God takes care of each and every one of his children, but it is the children that turn from God and refuse that love? Yes, the infants and the mentally deficient get into Heaven without having to make a choice. they ALSO get into heaven without the full experience of life. YOU, on the other hand, having experienced life with all its ups AND DOWNS, know what a GREAT prize Heavenis, and you should take great joy in the fact that YOU have the brain power to actually have MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE. I suggest that you more carefully examine your relationship with Jesus to see if you really WILL make it to Heaven, or if you are on the wide and easy-to-find path to Hell.

Everyone is born in sin, no exceptions (Psalm 51:5). The only way of salvation is God's grace which comes through faith in Jesus Christ. Just because a mentally challenged person may not be able to comprehend deep doctrines does not mean that they do not have a child-like faith and are thereby saved.
They are saved by grace through faith, just like everyone else. No "free pass".

I personally believe that, yes, they do go to heaven, because they are not able to totally grasp the concept of God. God is merciful, and He shows His mercy to those people. :) Hope this helps!
God loves you!
ps.. to the person who said that God did not make those people the way they are, God made ALL of us the way we are.

I would say so because they wouldn't necessarily have the maturity or capacity to understand their sinful nature and thereby not be responsible for it.
