Why are Muslims so hot temper?

I notice a lot answers from Muslims,they are like challanging to the world that they are the strongest and the toughest religion in the world.Seems like they have low self esteem.They keep fighting and explaining themselves when peoples post a questions on terrorist.Why is it so that they can be easily offended?

Some people are just easily offended. Obviously, it is because they are very defensive because the entire world judges them incorrectly. You might get defensive too if everything was blamed on you or people contantly tried to prove you wrong and tell you that you are a terrorist. Some muslims may have low self esteem just like you might or my grandmother or your boss or anyone else. This has nothing to do with the religion though.
I don't get defensive or rarely even offended when people call me a terrorist or say they hate muslims. Im so used to people judging me based on what less than one percent of the muslims in the world are doing that live thousands of miles away from me. Thats how some americans are and others are beautifully open minded and understanding. Im just saying that truw muslims are tired of this bs and tired of defending themselves and proving themselves worthy of being thought of as humans.

We get our knowledge from the Quran and the Hadith, both of these combined gives us enough knowledge to challenge any one. We have knowledge unlike any other religion Islam is the fastest growing religion why? Because Islam is still relevant to today and so are our answers. The Quran itself has been proven by science 70% of the Quran in fact is proven by science. Muslims stand out from all the other religions because we have the most in depth knowledge about everything. Islam is not just a religion but a complete way of life. If you think about it why would God not give us guidance that will be relevant not only today but for ever? The Quran and the Hadith are relevant, unlike the Bible, Torah etc we can obtain information from the Quran and Hadith 14 centuries ago and we will still be able to get information in the upcoming future.

I believe it is because there is too much ignorance or maybe uneducated questions in regard to muslim's. This gets very annoying. Especially by Americans(I am one)because they believe anything on the television. Any other country around the world will show a different story than America. It would hurt a christians feeling to be attacked all the time too. In the Spanish crusades, Chritians attacked a raped and murdered muslims and such. So anyone can be a terrorist.

Put yourself on their feet. These terrorists are already doing too much harm in their faith, Their Quran is being interpreted differently by moderate and extremes. Media/movie are picturing Muslims identified with terrorism. I wouldn't be surprised if one day I read in the dictionary the definition of Muslim goes like this: It is a bunch of fools who blow themselves up in honor of God. Then add a couple of insults with questions meant not to seek clarification then what do we get? The answer is in your question.

Oh by the way, do you know what is a Filipino? Dictionary says: Its maid for hire overseas. May not mean anything for non-filipino but it was an insult to the filipino people.

No religion has the monopoly on firebrands, whackheads and crazies. Look at the religeous garbage the KKK has spouted in the past. All despots seem distort faiths for their own twisted ends. In this respect Muslims are no better or worse than any other group. Man wil always put self interest and expediency before honest spiritual belief.

Does "hot temper" mean the same thing as "hot tempered"? Just wanting to make sure.

Anyway, in a word, I think it's because their faith is still central to their lives. Most Americans don't know what that's like.

Most American's ancestors were that way. (See Salem witch trials, etc.) But for most modern Americans, religion is a secondary thing. That's why I have very mixed feelings about muslim's religion. At very least, they practice it and base their lives on it. You have to give them that...

U R no different from the ones who call us terrorists. They few wacko minded Muslims who blow themselves up, they think the rest R similar. I did not know that few thousands can overshadow the 1.1 billion??!!
U've seen few answers on this site, by few of us who had enough bashing or feel hurt by insults on our religion and Prophet, made U think that the 1.1 billion R challenging the world??!!
When U see the whole 1.1 billion being hot tempered, only then U can ask this question.

Well it depends on how wickedly our religion is being hit, just try to ask such question about other religion and see the responce they will come ever harder........No one accept insult to one's religion,infact we are much tolerant even now . You should appreciate our tolerance in responce to all those false propaganda thats being spread by some wicked peoples.

In the Book of Genesis the Lord spoke to Hagar the mother of Ishmael who would become the Father of all Islam.
God told Her He would Father a great Nation and that they would be as Wild Donkeys, that they would continually be in strife with the whole world.
This is because they were the seed of Abrahams sin against God. He was promised by God that Sarah His wife would bear a son to Him yet they grew impatient so Sarah offered Hagar, her handmaiden to Abraham.
God still fulfilled His promise with Isaac the Father of Israel yet the seed of sin had already been planted.

i assume in spite of everything the terrorist assaults by a minority team they have all been labelled terrorists and that they might desire to take care of themselves to all of us whether they do no longer believe what the minority have executed. i'm no longer Muslim yet I do have some recognize-how and that i don't have faith we would desire to constantly choose all Muslims for the incorrect doing of a few.
