I used to drive my mom NUTS doing this. I guess you think that if you keep opening the fridge, suddenly you'll get an idea of something to make or eat.

Because all of us at one point in our lives were suprised to find a tasty food item in the refridgerator that we didn't know was there. Maybe it only happened once or twice that there was a slice of pizzas hidden behind the leftover macaroni and cheese, but the sheer elation you experience when you;re hungry and that super secret hidden mystery pizza reveals itself stays with you for a lifetime. That's why you keep going to the fridge.

I had to laugh when i read your question because it is so true and i just realised i do it all the time! And your right there never is anything new! Wouldn't it be great if we could say what we wanted and it be in there when we opened it! No more food shopping bills!!
