Cabo San Lucas is a very expensive place to visit.
Because I was told everything there is trucked in. Nothing there is natural, except the beaches and ocean.
Never been to Rio.

Cabo is going to be, however Cabo isn't really "cheap" either. If you are planning on going in March, you need to start looking now. I can tell you that the airlines are running fewer flights to ensure full planes. Also to re-train those that wait last min. that last min. deals are flying right out the window.

Those that plan in advance will now get better prices and I say it's about time! They are the ones who deserve better rates than those that say "I can leave anytime, starting tomorrow".

Travel Agents have promo codes that may or may not work for your dates so contact your local travel agent and please don't assume online is always "Cheaper" in fact in packages I have seen higher and have proved this to from clients.

If you do go to Brazil, this needs to be booked farther out than say Mexico. Especially if you are looking at going during "Carnival".

Have Happy Travels and remember starting Jan 8th 2007 passports will be required.
