me and my wife have been married for 2 years now. we have 2 children. we are trying to find free help with immigration law, and are hoping someone may be able to direct us somewhere for the help we need.

Sorry to say there's nothing you can do unless you find a job that will sponsor you and your family. If your children were born in the US, they can't sponsor you unless they're 18, I believe.
