I have a garage sale every year and also put ads up at work (do you have a community board?) to try and sell things.
A good rule of thumb, when selling things, is this...was it used or new? If it's new, price it for about 1/3 to 1/2, depending on the condition, of what you originally paid for it. If it was used...just mark it cheap to try to ensure a sale. Look at it this way, at least it's gone and out of your hands and you made a little money off of it?
You could also try eBay; however, as a former seller I can tell you that it's more of a hassle than what it's worth. Also, if you set up a PayPal account to be paid by e-check or debit card, PayPal takes a part of that amount as profit as does eBay. I find that some people, too, just don't want to pay after bidding. It's more than a headache than what it's worth. I would start with having a garage sale first, then placing an add up at work or even in your local newspaper. Or....call around at daycares and see if they will place an ad for you in their lobby or whatever to sell baby clothes. Good Luck!

If it's a garage sale or Craigslist, I don't spend more than 3.00 per item or I buy a lot (whole bag) for like 25.00. These days, you can get brand new clothes at Walmart for 5.00 an item so unless it's designer clothes like Baby Gap/Gymboree you're not going to get more than 3.00 per

Take them to a baby resale shop around you or trying to sell them at consignment. Thant is what I have done in the past and has worked wonderfully. They also take toys, baby items, etc. that are gently used that you are done with.

Estimate how much you bought the clothes for and sell them for half or 75% of the price.

Most times people usually sell it for between 50cents and one dollar a piece. More if its a name brand or if its brand new with tags.

Think how much YOU would be willing to pay for it.
Consider taking it to a resale shop and let them make you an offer.
