Ok, I'm in college and I work. I havea healthy lifestyle, but lately I've been bad. Too much partying, eating horribly, working too much, little sleep, too much coffee...all crappy, bad bad stuff. I need to renew and get come healthy energy, because I have break coming up. Anyone know of a good detox program/drink/anything? I'm just curious what worked for you. Ironically, I'm a nutrition student, but I have strayed. Thankyou!

Ok realize detox was bad terminology...

I just have been too stressed lately and off my usual routine. I would like to kick-start my immune system, expecially with flu season coming up.

Detox is normally for addicts. You are a normal person but strayed a bit. I suggest you regulate your life. Control your diet. Have fixed hours for your exercise routine. This a must. This is an insurance you are paying for good health and long life which is sickness free. If you can take on some yoga to calm you down it will be great. Yoga is a secret weapon to put mind over matter. Try this. Good luck.

The strongest detox you can do is pure water for 72 hours. The powders, drinks, teas and pills are just bells and whistles. Do a little research on "therapeutic water fasting" and see for yourself.

We have a Detox & Fasting forum at Kimkins. Our members are amazed at the all the changes they experience, whether a 3 day or 7-10 day fast.

Drink tea instead of coffee...Twinings English or Irish breakfast blend...pour the milk in first. Don't eat cheeseburgers and fries and pizzas more than once a week. Exercise five days a week. Do cardio at least three days for 45 minutes. Make sure to stretch afterwards. Workout with dumbells. Make sure to do legs and lower back and stomach.

Isagenix has a very effective drink that removes toxins from your body. It has pure aloe vera in it- among other herbal ingredients.
Read in their site about it.>> isagenix.com
They have a cleansing system called: Cleanse For Life
This is actually really perfect for you. A nine day program comes with vitamin supplement and vit. C in an extra bottle (sent free with each shipment if you sign up for automatic shipping.... otherwise for one time order ask for C-lyte) that make you strong against colds... it's absolutely awesome!
The terminology detox is appropriate, because our body stores so much of it that it's one of the reasons why losing weight (for example) is hard to do- toxins accumulated in your body for years holds on to the fat.... it's how isagenix explains it... and they do use the word "detox".
