The book is really no good. I got my hands on it once from a friend. Grants for businesses are usually given to non-profit organizations who in turn lend the money to individuals who want to start their own business. Key word lend so there are requirements and stipulations you must follow from your lender.

As for school this website www.students.gov can help with your process. Scroll down a bit in the site. Another source is the college that you are going to attend they usually post lots of scholarship information , you just have to do what they ask. you will be surprised to learn that each year millions of dollars of scholarship money go unused.

Not really sure but for the most part I think its a waste of time. The grants that are given are usually for minorities, or for people who have outstanding school acedemics, and even for people with disablities

but for the average person its next to impossible

If the grant you are looking for is for collage
then take the Sat exam and score near almost perfect you will be offered College for virtually free
