I have a Creative Nomad Jukebox 1 and it said alkalines would only last less than an hour and it takes 4 AA. It has Creative brand batteries with it that are AA NiMh with 1200mAh and it said those should last about 4 hours. I have 12 of those 4 are sealed 8 have been used an unknown number of times. I also have 4 Energizer 2500mAh AA. So what I am wondering is, is what mAh does lithium AA's have and how long the Energizer batteries will last me as far as playing time in hours goes. The Energizer batteries have not seen much use. And how long would lithium batteries last playing time wise.

The NiMH batteries can be recharged over and over. Lithium batteries and regular (alkaline) Energizer batteries can't be recharged. If money is no object, the lithium batteries will last the longest between battery changes.

If you get a charger like the one in the link, you can always have a fresh set of NiMH batteries ready to go. Chargers like that are available in all electronics stores and many drug stores. This is by far and away the least expensive option over the life of your Jukebox, as well as the most "green" since you won't be dumping lots of batteries in the landfill.
