two years ago, my jersey driver's license was suspended for 2 years, as a result of a DUI conviction...the suspension will expire on the 23rd of this month...in the interim, my jersey license expired...i now live in pennsylvania and, of course, want to obtain a pa. license...to do so, i believe i will have to have, from the new jersey mvc, a "letter of restoration", indicating that i have served the suspension, paid all fines and fees, and fulfilled all other requirements pursuant to the conviction...

is this "letter" generated automatically upon expiration of the suspension period?

or, am i going to have to "go to war" with the njmvc to have this "letter" issued?

any help will be greatly appreciated...thanx in advance...

You will have to go to their regional office located in Wayne, NJ to get your license restored. Once its restored, you can go walk right into PA DMV and get your license. Because once they check the system they will see that everything checks out.
