Dont worry , your cat is normal. They do thier bussness in places that they think people wont find it. Once I was about to cook a O bone roast for dinner and there my kitten does his thing in a crockpot. I was so mad. I had to bleach it really hard. But you can show the cat what he did wrong and say no in a firm voice. And spray it with the water bottle and say no. Please do not rub your cat's nose in it and thump it on the noise. It is cruel to do that. Water is not cruel, but it will let your cat know that is the bad thing to do. And he wont think twice to do that agian. Hope this helps and good luck. And you might want to put lemen juice where he did his busnieess , cat's hate that smell. Good luck. And plesase dont use pepper , it will hurt the cat. And stop useing bleach , the smell of the bleach is like the smell of other cat's urine and your cat might be marking his terriory. Have a nice day.Maybe try a strong order , like vinger. Cat's cant stand those kind of smells. It might be the litter box, make sure to clean it out everyday and maybe change the litter, cat's are very picky of thier litter. I think it's the way the litter feels on thier paws. But I really dont know about that.

does your cat have a litter box? We had a cat who did this occasionally but only if she was a bit off colour.

feed her int he bath for a few days. Cats won't poo where they eat. Where is her litter tray? if it's near where she eats that could be why she is using the bath instead.

Oh and if you don't want to feed her in the bath, just leave a couple of inches of water in the bath, she won't use it then.

Clean with some lemon scented cream, spray or wipes. Cats dont like the smell so it will put him off, or leave a small amount of water in the bath, or just shut the door!

this can look obtrusive yet is the muddle tray empty / sparkling? My cat who also had a cat flap keen to give up going outdoors perhaps through territory complications and began pooing contained in the bathtub. We were given a muddle tray which solved the issue yet she in some circumstances did it afterwards. i ultimately worked out she loved clean muddle and can want to do it even as it replaced right into somewhat previous and were given problematical. a minimum of she chosen someplace actual cleanable!

stop using bleach to clean your bath, its smells to a cat like another cat has marked there and he will want to replace it with his own smell. Use a cleaning product which is lemon scented (and contains no bleach) which usually deters most cats.

Put the plug in the outlet and leave the bath with a few inches of water, until your cat don't bother to go there anymore.

I think your cat may be lazy, does it have a litter tray, and is it clean. Or do you have a catflap so that the cat can get outdoors easily. My cat has done this on a few occasions, she has a catflap so there is really no excuse. but lets be serious, we all get a bit lazy every now nad again, don't we.

Make sure his litter box is clean out daily...it seems to me the cat is defining you for some reason. Maybe even moving the litter box next to tub might help plus keeping it cleaned out.

Also...have you tried to put shower doors up and keep them close or the bathroom door closed with of course, the litter box in another room and keeping it clean out.
