I've been trying to lose some weight and I lose some, but my butt is gone, and other areas remain about the same. how can you maintain the size of your butt while trimming other areas, such as your stomach, legs, arm?

Any exercise that works the gluteus muscles should help. I noticed my butt had a better shape (i.e. not FLAT like it used to be) when I had been walking regularly for about 3-4 months. Running or bicycling or swimming is good--anything that makes you use your legs a lot. And the aerobic nature of the said exercises should help you lose weight generally if your diet is good.

Try doing squats or lunges to build up muscle in that particular area. You can't really do much else since your body decides where it will lose fat first.

Huh, many people, myself included, would love it if their butt's shrunk to nothing! Guess you'd need to do sit ups for your stomach, and weight training for the other areas.

You must exercise, muscle is what gives your bum shape, so as you lose fat you need to build muscle. For your bum try squats and lunges.

Stay out of the bakery when you go to get grocerys. It worked for me.
