Yes it would bother me because it sounds like bratty behaviour. He seems to be the kind of person who needs things his way. Beware the selfish.

No this wouldn't bother me, he is really trying to feel you feel bad so that you will give in to what he wants. He is being very selfish and not considerate because of your work schedule. Just ignore the fact that he gets upset cause if you don't I guarantee he will continue to repeat this bahavior.
