Ya of course! Try starting a conversation sometime with him. If he doesn't seem interested in talking to you, then forget him. Don't let it get to you. There are WAY too many other fish in the sea. If this guy is a jerk and is not willing to give you the time of day just cause he's on a different popularity level than you, then he's not worth it.

well....he did have a lot of friends and yes because im very shy but i was lucky for he ended up asking me out, but the only way to guarantee a chance is by trying to talk to him even though its hard
