Ok, i have dry skin on my lips and i bite it off. it's rough where i have bitten it off. is this the cause of the roughness? or is it just dry lips? i've had this for a long time now. What can i do to get rid of it? i have tried chap stick, lip balms, ect..but it's still the same and not helping any.

You shouldn't bite it off - it can rip the skin even if just a little and the hardness is probably from the skin trying to heal. Use vitamin E on your lips, try not to lick them or bite at them, and drink lots and lots of water! Most dry skin is caused by lack of water in the system.

That's actually kinda gross...

Try using Vaseline... the oil base is natural and better than any other lip balm.

Get some self control and stop biting! It must be some type of nervous condition.

if you can't get rid of it, try going to a dr. or a dermatologist. seriously. And you've tried Carmax? it seems carmax always seems to be the answer! Also you may want to look into what you are eating. Maybe talk to a health professional. Bottom line is that if carmax doesn't work, you should go to a dr.
