Is your average limited to only one bowling center? If so, I would try to boost your average up to at least 220 on any lane condition. Just because the PBA membership committee says that 195 is the minimum, does not mean that you will succeed. I'd wait a while to fine tune and improve your game. I was in the same situation thinking that a 195 average for two years was adequate. Good luck!

By being smart enough to post golf questions in a golf forum and bowling questions in a bowling forums.

Then, increase your certified average to at least 230, and loose the beer belly.

find some good bowling freinds and start a team. most bowling alleys have teams, and most have different levels or conferences, so you can play with people on your own level. If your good enough you could get sponsered and compete in championships and stuff.
