Two and a half years ago I decided to eat more healthily. I have high cholesterol and I was gradually gaining weight. I reckoned I was eating a low fat diet anyway and didn't think I could actually lose the weight and that it was middle-aged spread. However, I was worried about my heart because I have a little boy and I wanted to stay around for him. I had muesli every morning for breakfast and a big salad with some sort of meat for lunch. At night I ate whatever the family ate but did not have seconds or pudding. I more or less cut out bread apart from sandwiches at the weekend. I drank lots of water and ate loads of fruit. I refused all biscuits and sweets and avoided buffets at meetings - taking my own salad if necessary. I drank loads of water and cut out tea and coffee. I never counted calories or weighed myself because losing weight was not my priority. I walked as much as I could and went swimming when I felt like it. If I felt like chocolate I made sure it was the best I could buy (Green and Blacks normally) and I could make a bar last for weeks in the fridge.
To cut a long story short, over 18 months I lost 3 stone (I was weighed at the hospital) went down from a size 16 to a size 10 and went down 3 bra sizes.
I never felt deprived of food or hungry and I went out plenty of times with friends and family to restaurants. I was just careful about what I ate without making a big deal out of it. Most people had no idea I was 'dieting' and I never told anyone what I was doing unless they commented on my weight loss. It was very slow - I reckon it took 3 months before I noticed any difference and 6 months before anyone else did.
Because its not a diet, just sensible eating, I carry on with the same type of meals now. Puddings and cake now seem incredibly sweet and even when I 'treat' myself I find I can't eat it because my tastes have changed.
Go for the long haul - it is worth it in the end.

You're going to have to do it the "hard way" eventually anyway, as you can't live on those pills. The "hard way" is the ONLY way. & Its not that hard anyway. So stop making excuses.
Just stick to foods that only nature naturally provides (not what Humans have fiddled with) & you can't go wrong. Do you see any obese wild animals?? Do you see wild animals being told how to eat & what to eat... No. Its only us stupid humans that think we're so intelligent.
Eat as much of all that is natural as you like, fresh fruit & veg etc. & you will loose in a healthy way.
Slimming drugs are just another way humans found to make money out of us fatties who think its too hard. Don't become a slave. Nature provides everything we'll ever need. Good luck.

Do it the hard way because not only will you lose weight but your body shape will be marvellous as well. Should you take the slimming pills, you will only be ruining your metabolism and the end result will be a slim, out of shape body. Usually most of the things considered hard always end sweetly. Try that and you will never regret the effort.

don't waste your money the only fat cat is the company doing all the clever marketing . if you wish to loose weight start slowly ie give up the things you love ie chocolate /crisp/ white bread and butter. drink more water it does fill you up a bit and cleans your whole body out .don't eat after 8 at night as it sits on you and turns to fat you cant burn it off . a few minutes of walking each day helps and try a longer walk as time goes on .don't be a marter to slim people world as you are what you are and treat yourself once a week say Saturday night to a small sin . a Good thing to have is fruit with a low fat natural yogurt on it its filling and you are helping your gut with the yogurt. remember the winter is a hard time to diet as your natural body wants to out on weight for winter so try for a pound a week to start it will soon come off

If it's sounds too good to be true, it usually is. The only way to lose weight is to burn more calories than you take in. Exercise helps you burn more calories. The pills, the gadgets, etc. just don't work. The "hard way" is the healthy way and the only way to keep the weight off over a period of time.
Good luck

Save yourself and run, run and run as fast as you can from this horrible solution. I am begging you to throw that thought away, as these pills messed up my metabolism and made me lose a few pounds just to put back 10 pounds instead. They also caused me a sensitive stomach and a messed up appetite. Now I don't know when I am hungry and when not. They all contain dangerous chemicals and are not effective at all on the long run.

the hard way is a lot safer and healthier..and the only diet pills that really help you lose weight are really bad for you they can cause you to have heart attacks or strokes..try a low carb high protein diet and drink lots of water and stay away from sugar!

best thing to do is take them. make sure you get some really heavy stuff that will have you wired for a long time. also drink a lot of caffinee and you could blow a few lines of cocaine, around 1.5 grams a day for about 2-3 weeks. that will have your *** skinnier then nicole richies *** looks right now, and i belive she took up the same routine. you will get dangerousely addicted to anything, but thank god for detox right

hard way.....those tablets don't work. Reduce the amount of calories your eating per day and excercise at least 30 minutes a day.
