Embarrassing- (When you have older kids and you are pregnant you have LOTS of embarrassing moments, but this is one....)
My group B strep test when I was pregnant with my 3rd. My husband was in the Marine Corps and gone, and I could not find any one to watch my two older children who were 3 and 4 at the time. I ended up taking them with me, and instructed them to stand behind my head, so they wouldn't be in the way. As soon as the doctor began the exam, both my children went to see what he was doing. Needless to say they were mortified....and so was I.
Scariest- I have a few of those too....but almost having a baby in your car because the labor went super quick was pretty dramatic. They literally wheeled me in and put me on a bed. No time to think, and it was just too crazy for me.....

The scariest moment for me happened at the end of my pregnancy. I had planned to give birth in a birth center instead of at the hospital. I went in for my doctors appointment one afternoon, and they told me that we were going straight to the hospital for a c-section because my blood pressure was 172/120. I was not at all prepared and it scared me so much. They had to sedate me during the surgery because I was so frightened, but then I started hallucinating. The nurses kept telling me that I had a baby boy, and I kept telling them that the man they were doing surgery on had kidney stones stuck in his penis. I was so embarrassed later when I found out what I had been saying. It took several hours for me to even realize that my baby had been born.

Well to start off I was just scared to go have the baby. They induced on tuesday night. I was'nt dialating so thursday morning they took me to have a c-section i was terrified. They start sticking you with all theese different things and pumping lots of fluid. It was all over in a matter of minutes and i had my baby. Everything i was scared of turned out to be nothing she had all ten toes and ten fingers. However turns out the c-section was the best thing that had ever happend to me. Emily grace wieghed in at 11lbs and 3 oz. Now that is scary thing to think about that. Could you imagine if I had to give vaginal birth.

I have two kids. During the birth of my oldest daughter, her shoulder got stuck in my wife's birth canal, so they had to use forceps to take her out. They first tried with a female doctor, but she wasn't strong enough. Then a male doctor tried, and he was pulling so hard that I thought her little head was going to pop clean off! I was very nervous!
Then, when my second daughter was born, she came out with the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck, so she wasn't getting oxygen and she had turned blue. They had to rush her out of the room and work on her to revive her.
Fortunately both girls ended up being just fine.

Embarassing was the first time I realized that my boobs were leaking... scariest was when I started having contractions at 24 weeks and the doc told me I could go into real labor any day. They stuck me on bed rest and terbutaline, so it isn't as bad now.

I got varicose veins "down there" How awful to have to ask your doctor what the heck is going on, and then explain to your husband!! Not to mention the doctor then prescribed those darn support hose which are impossible to get on or off. My best friend went to one of my last appts with me and she had to take them off of me!! We were in a fit of giggles trying to get them off. What the people in the neighboring exam rooms must have thought!! Those things are some evil contraption obviously designed by a man!!
