I am in the process of buying a new truck and I just want to know which truck overall is better. I am leaning towards the Honda due to the quality of it's cars. I plan on keeping this vehicle for a while. America help me decide!!!

Man if you want a LONG LASTING vehicle go for the F-150. My hubby and I own 4 of them and they are great. One of ours has almost 400,000 miles on it and still going strong. To me that is pretty darn good. (Why do we have 4? We own a business and use them for service trucks) Definately go for it instead of the Honda. Parts for foreign vehicles are alot more expensive than Ford's also.

FYI - Ford trucks are the #1 selling trucks on the market and have been for many, many years. I suppose this is why!

Even calling the Ridgeline a truck is a stretch. It is a Honda Pilot with the back half of the roof removed.
The Ford F150 Series are the most reliable trucks on the market and many surveys have determined them to be the longest lasting. I can go out in my area and find a dozen 1970's Ford Pickups in an hour. I don't think I would find two Honda's of the same vintage in a day.
The Ford is a truck, built on a box frame and with truck suspension under it. The Honda is a Uni body SUV with passenger car components under it. If you need a truck, buy the Ford. If you just want to look cool buy the Honda.
The only real drawback with a real truck is that it will never get the mileage of an imitation like the Ridgeline. However when the 250,000 mile mark comes the Ford will be still around and the Honda will be long gone.

They may both be trucks but the Ford is more of a real pickup then the Honda. If you want a truck like vehicle that has a small little bed on the back that you may or may never use go with the Honda. If you need to haul stuff or tow something or anything where a real truck is needed go with the Ford. They are both high quality vehicles. The Ford is the best selling vehicle in the country so 900,000+ people a year must know something about picking a good truck.

If you just want a truck to be in a truck, and occasionally haul a few things away, and won't tow anything more than a couple of jet skis, then get the Honda. It's the perfect truck for people who don't really need a truck.

Rides nice, is quite, great features, it's a Honda, and has tremendous resale value...especially compared to the F-150.

Note, I drive an F-150 with almost 100k mi on it, and have never even replaced a bulb on it. It has been a phenomenal vehicle for me, but if I didn't have to haul 1000's of pounds of stone around, I'd be all for getting the Honda.

But really, I'd take a look at a D-Cab Tundra. EXTREMELY comfortable, and with the 07's due to hit the ground in a few months, there are currently $4000 rebates on all Tundras in the South East area of the country.

It would really depend on what you want the vehicle for. the 250 is a work truck, the Honda not so much. The 250 will get a lot worse gas mileage then the Honda. Those are two answers off the top of my head

Honda is the correct choice, if quality is your MAIN concern. You will probably get the BEST price on the Ford, as there are ZILLIONS of them on lots. It's hard to get lower prices on Hondas.
