I don't know. I hate that. I work in a small office and who ever is available answers the phone. When I answer the phone, telemarketers always think I'm a receptionist. I hate that too. I'm one of the higher-ups and perfectly capable of making business decisions for the company.

Possibly better to be wrong about being married then to have the call be taken as a pass or flirting.
