trust me, this is just an ideal fantasy that rarely if ever happens. nothing is impossible, but i can guarantee that if girls in a dorm are doing this, it is probably because they are intoxicated.
this is my second year living in the dorms and nothing like this has ever happened. and if girls say they do this or do it in front of you, it's probably for shock factor or like i said, because they've been drinking.
come on, be realistic.
and no. not al girls will behave like that when they become intoxicated. you can't take a stereotype that you've gotten from movies and the media and make such a huge sweeping generalization. also, women may be more in tough with their emotions than men, but that doesn't mean that living with one will be "an excuse to get closer to each other"

I don't think it really has much to do with the dorms. Women everywhere at some point or another question their sexuality or wonder what it would be like to be with a being of the same sex. It may happen more in dorms only because it's more convenient and the sleeper quarters are much closer or that you may bond more because you spend more time with that person. But I would not let that scare anyone of attending a college that offers dorms. You yourself still have the right to let it happen or not. Hope this helps.
