If I marry an American and he dies, let' s say after a month - will I have to move from America or I get the citizenship anyway???
No, I'm not a black widow, just curious...

No, you will not have to move! When you first marry an American you will be granted conditional permanent residence! This is good for the first two years. After, you both file I-751 to remove the conditions on your status! This is a probation period to see if the marriage was entered in good faith! You can file this alone ONLY if the marriage ended by death of your spouse or abuse by your spouse! These are the only two exceptions to the law. Your full permanent residence will still be granted! You do however, will have to wait 5 years instead of 3 to apply for citizenship! In the mean time , you will be a lawful permanent resident(Green card ) Natural or accidental death of your spouse is no fault of your own!

Well I got married with an american citizen, because I love him, and if he dies even if is after I get my citizenship, I would go back to my country, because the reason that today I'm here is because of him, so if you're wondering that, you're not probably really in love with the person that is gonna give you the citizenship.

to apply for the us citizenship you must be a permanent Resident and married since 3 years with an USC .

i would think you would get the citizenship, you can't time death
