Yes, I do, and you will find it in the meat section usually in a cryovac package, and along with the corned beef, there should be a packet of spice inside the package, you'll find them in any well stocked grocery store especially around this time of year, and definately during the month of March, for St Patrick's Day, corned beef is simple in a crock pot......when you get the corned beef home, open the package in the sink, (this can get messy, but not too) rinse the corned beef off with water and then place it in the crock pot insert and then put the insert into it's holder and to it, add either water or beer or a combination of both, enough so that the corned beef is covered by about an inch of liquid; add the contents of that little spice packet that I mentioned and turn the crock pot on LOW and put the cover on it........After 3 hours, add carrots, peeled and cut in thirds, a quartered onion, small red potatoes, scrubbed and halved, and some black pepper. Return the lid to the crock pot and turn the heat to HIGH for an additional 2 hours........Presto, see how easy that was??? When you get ready to chow down, remove the corned beef from the slow cooker and place fat side up on a cutting board and scrape of all the fat with a knife, then cut it across the grain of the meat into 1/4 inch slices and serve on a platter with the veggies.......Don't stress about this one, it's super easy for a first timer.......Good luck, hope this helps

One of my favorite meals and nothing like a leftover corned beef sandwich. Look for your corned beef briskets in the meat section of your grocery. Look for one that's not too fatty but some fat is good it helps the cooking process. This is a simple to cook meal. Especially in the crock. A lot of times they'll have some simple directions right on the package, seasonings and all. But just throw it in your crock with a little bay leaf (it doesn't need much seasoning because corned beef is very salty already) I throw in potatoes (peel them if you like or not), carrots, and onions (I'm not a cabbage girl but cabbage if you like) with it. A little water to cover the bottom. It kind of steams it. The longer you let it cook the better and more tender but about 4-5 hours will do it on high heat. I prefer a low setting and I let it go all day while I'm at work.

ind a corned beef brisket in the meat section. No matter whether point or flat cut.
Here's how I do it . Never used a recipe.
Pour off the juices from the brisket and rinse under cold water. (If you don't do they you will get a lot of foam)
put the brisket in the crock pot and cover with water. The brisket will come with a packet of pickling spices sprinkle them on the meat. (I always add about a tablespoon more from my spice cabinet).
Cook on high for one hour then reduce heat setting to low and continue to cook for 4 hours.
At this time add 1 whole head of cabbage, wedged. Continue to cook another 30 minutes on high. After 30 min add un-peeled halved small red potatoes.
Continue cooking until potatoes are done.
