please help me,ive had to crop my hair( which i was growing well)and i think its due to stress thats its been falling out and snapping.my hair is now cropped in a side partin but all along my partin,i have spikes where my hair has snapped.im so low on self esteem having just finished with my boyfriend and because i suffer from floppy lid syndrome( laxity of eyelid)that i feel so depressed.ive lost most of my pride in my appearance, ive had extensions when i grew out my crop before but now, im back to the start. my fringe snapped, and the spikes all along the trop of my head gave me no option but to crop it.Anybody please advise me what i can do

Sounds like you have alopecia. My friend had it when she was at uni... Go to the doctor and see what they suggest...

take the advice of some other ppl to go a salon or get a wig and C A DOCTOR for sure. mine advice is cut ur hair so it looks like its a style. i have the top back part of my head shaved off the bottom half is a mullet. the front is colored silver cut at an angle against my jaw line and i have my ear tails dyed black and longer than the sillver (the angle ends when the eartails hit the silver. i used to bleach my hair a lot so my hair snapped too theres barely anything on the right side and from the snapping i got bangs (they look good on me thu ...) my hair doesn't look like its damaged because of how crazy it already is. but maybe u can turn ur negative into a positive and try to have fun with it.

also (this from experiance honey) u can't expect others to love u unless U love URSELF first k? good luck

First of all extensions are really bad for the health of your hair. Secondly, what is your diet like? Do you take any medications? You need to take vitamins to help your hair regain strength. Do some conditioning or oil treatments on your hair to help bring it back to life. Go to your regular physician and make sure that this couldn't be a side effect or symptom of something more serious than stress going on in your life.

Take a multivitamin (ask your dr. if you are on other meds)

Relax

I don't know your hair texure, but maybe a wig until you can grow back your hair

Try rogaine for women

Go to the doctor they may be able to prescribe something

Buy some of those "phony-ponies" (fake hair ponytails) they make em for short haired women too who want a little more volume (They will help your esteem soooo much- I wear em)

Try thickening shampoo

Try those hair vitamins (with gelatin, etc)

Also, if your nails are weak, it's probably your diet.

Good luck, I know it's frustrating.

You need to get help for your stress first ,try not to dwell on your hair problem.Eat healthy foods and be proud of yourself, get yourself out and about and get a new boyfriend who will like you for what you are.Go to a good hairdresser for advice.I'm sure if you look there will be a website where there will be people who suffer the same and you might pick up some help from them.

The best thing for you to do is to start taking Prenatal vitamins. They will not hurt you if you're not pregnant. They have the best balance of all the vitamins you need to make your hair healthy again. This REALLY worked for me. I also started using Nexxus AloeRid shampoo to wash my hair because I was taking a few medications. Medicines also can make your hair unhealthy enough to fall out. Hope this helps!!

First of all- RELAX! we all have stresses big and small... Take something for hair&nails ( from Boots. I got them and in 45 days I couldn't believe my eyes. It was an amazing result). Above of thet - vitamines B groupe. They are good for nervous people. Don't go for extentions- will regret after. Nothing can damage your hair more than extentions. You can easy bacame bold with that (lots of celebs had and have that). Good Luck! Keep your head up! be positive, listen to music that cheer you up, watch fanny films ext.

I think that you should go to a doctor and in the meanwhile do some yoga, it will make you feel better about yourself and it really helps with stress. Put on a wig. i know it must be really hard but you need to be better to yourself and think that your hair can grow back. Think positive!

It happened to my wife years ago when we married i was on the night shift, so my wife decided she would too. While i liked the night shift my wife did'nt and could'nt sleep or even eat properly; hence low intake of vitamins and minerals. Her hair fell out in lumps along with bits of her scalp, she came off night's and was okay. See your doctor for anything you can get. Good luck

oh I actual have long thick aswell and mine continuously falls out even whilst im washing it like warmth load of hairs start to fall out, exact on account which you will possibly tie your hair suited tight or use a great form of hairspray or you aint eating the splendid foodstuff/ eating suited fluids.... i dont think of stress even makes you unfastened hair does it... pass docs yet i in my opinion think of its great reason you have alot of hair to swap the fallen ones in any case.

Well when my hair started falling out. I went to the doctor and they told me i had thyroid disease. Maybe you should be checked out just to be on the safe side. It never hurts to be safe.
