Plaese, Miss. What's a Scone, Skown or Skon? And what does "posh" mean? I thought it was a kind of spice like nutmeg.

this must be some british thing. Americans say skown like phone. Across the board, I think. Am I posh? Can a yankee be posh?

I say it the Skonn way...most of the time, but i do catch myself saying Skown sometimes...like today...i had a really yummy cheese scone!
My american other half says it the Scone (like phone) way (only with an american accent...obviously!)
